Venturing out into... Cyberspace!

Venturing out into... Cyberspace!

I have so far resisted facebook, twitter or any form of social media beyond the necessity of e-mails and text messages because, quite frankly, I wasn't sure if anything I'd say would be remotely interesting to anyone beyond my close friends, and immediate family.  And yet, it seems to me that I was missing out on some great new phenomenon that so openly and liberally shares to the world. So... here I am.  "Abroad in the World" more or less describes me.  I've "gone abroad" to immigrate to the US and feel that I've since been "in the world".  This is not to suggest that I travel constantly; I actually do - a lot.  But it's more about my evolving mindset and frame of reference. This frame of reference has been, and continues to be shaped, informed and influenced by where I've come from, the people I meet, the places I go to , the work I do, and  my aspirations.

So... I venture out into cyberspace, a new way of being abroad. "Abroad in the World" will, hopefully become a journal of my continuing journey... discoveries to share, lessons to pass on, photos to exhibit..
